The Hastings Hinterland weaves together family farms serving communities near and far with milk, cheese, potatoes, blueberries, avocados, pork, beef, garlic, macadamias and so much more. Many of the farms have been in the same family for generations and those farmers tell of travelling to local schools on horseback every day. But there are also new faces and families who have chosen to tree change and swap their city lifestyles for the joy and satisfaction of caretaking the land and providing food for the table. Following the markets we continue on a nostalgic journey to a little gem of a place where great home made food and coffee is served amongst an original old day setting. You can browse the antique rooms and take a step back into Hastings history.
